Friendship House Partners works alongside persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities (friends), their families and institutions to secure safe, affordable, community- oriented housing.
  • We affirm the capacity of friends to live inter-dependently and grow in independent living skills.

  • We celebrate the friends’ ability to contribute to and enrich the lives of graduate level students.

  • We value the deeper sense of community that is fostered within Friendship House  by eating together, praying together and celebrating together!

  •  We believe that through collaboration in Friendship House we together can produce something reflective of God’s love for all humanity.

  • We acknowledge that the housing opportunity Friendship House provides is urgently needed and therefore pursue its benefits for others as a matter of justice.

  • We seek the welfare of the communities in which Friendship Houses are located and therefore collaborate with many for the good of all.
